On this page I’m going to talk about my relationship with God.

I was raised  Catholic. Went to Hayden High School and taught CCD for 10 years.   I don’t  think technically we Catholics are supposed to read the Bible,  just go to Church and let the Priest give us a weekly book report.  But I do believe God speaks to me, to everyone, if we just listen.

Gods favorite way to talk to me is through songs.   Not traditional ‘churchy’ songs though.  For example:  today on the way to work I thought about what I wanted to happen in the New Year.  Good health, of course.  Happiness, wealth, fame; you know, the usual.  Suddenly, Badfinger came on the radio http://bit.ly/NEmOB and there was God, telling me:  If you want it, here it is, come and get it.

Sounds simple enough.  But as He points out, you better hurry, because it goes fast and if you miss it, well who’s the fool then?

Now all of our conversations are not one sided.  The next song made me think of my insecurities and shortcomings.  http://bit.ly/bM22WM.  Seriously God, I’m just a joker,  some call me a space cowboy even.   I don’t deserve everything I dream of, do I?  But you know God, You are the cutest thing I ever did see.  And I do love peaches.
